Bharti Airtel, India’s leading telecommunications company, has said that it is ready to offer 5G services to its customers across the country and has reserved additional spectrum to get more customers in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

This adds an additional 11.2 MHz to Karnataka and 5 MHz to Tamil Nadu.

The federal government is stepping up testing of its 5G services amid fierce competition among telcos over who will be the first to implement 5G services most effectively in India.

With 3.03 crore of telecom subscribers in Karnataka alone, Airtel is not only launching 5G service, but also adding new spectrum to increase new customers and provide quality service.

Reliance Jio is also actively working on the introduction of the 5G service to compete with Airtel. What is Reliance going to do with the 5G service, which was a great success with the introduction of the 4G service?
