While some look everywhere for elements that herald a new Silent Hill signed byHideo kojima, others, noticeably more modest, saw well Tsushima ghost it will be the next PlayStation excluded to be exported to PC.
And the idea was not entirely stupid. In recent months, Sony has begun to give a second life to some of its exclusive games whose career on consoles seemed more or less stopped, commercially speaking. After Horizon Zero Dawn and its first place in sales on Steam, it was, last month, Days Gone that knew the honor of a launch for PC. And we know from Sony even that the Japanese does not intend to stay there.
So why not watch it happen really fast? Tsushima ghost ? A rumor had even “confirmed” the idea, after the appearance online of a new private cover of the formula “Only on PlayStation”. If this line is now erased, it means that the game is no longer an exclusion, right? So what is released on PC? Quickly drawn conclusions. Too much, even. Especially since they were fake.
If the painting without the mention “Only …” was clearly visible online, it was actually just a digital representation. The Reddit user who first saw and later shared this rendering himself then posted a disclaimer, with a picture of the game box, the real one, this time, with the mention of exclusivity.
That doesn’t mean that Ghost of Tsushima will never make it to PC. Just not in the next few weeks. With the game’s almost surprising success when it launched, we can imagine Sony capitalizing on the title a bit and releasing an “enhanced” version for PlayStation 5 before finally releasing it for PC in several months (years?) …
