Olivier Giroud can’t wait to play with Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Date:

AC Milan formalized the hiring of Olivier Giroud this Saturday (34), from Chelsea. The French international is engaged for two seasons with the Italian club, until 2023. The Rossoneri have spent 2 million euros to secure their services. Giroud comes to reinforce Milan’s offensive sector, where he will be notably associated with Zlatan Ibrahimovic. In an interview published by AC Milan, the Frenchman mentioned the Swedish striker and said he was looking forward to playing alongside him.

What’s next after this announcement?

« I have already played against Zlatan several times. For me, the fact that he is still playing at 40 shows that he is an exceptional professional. At that age, you can’t play without a lot of commitment to the team and determination. He takes care of himself … I will try to do the same to enjoy football, if my body allows it. It is an example for the youngest. He is one of the best forwards in Serie A. I can’t wait to play with him, I think we’ll have fun. We will try to win something. With Zlatan, it’s even better “he declared.
