With the new product, Microsoft says it wanted to bring clear microphone performance, high-quality ear cushions, and a volume control dial, on the right ear cup, into the entry-level headphone category. Since it uses a 3.5mm audio jack, you can use the headphones on consoles, PCs, and mobile devices.
The new Xbox Stereo Headset is designed similarly to the Xbox Wireless Headset in that it features a “flexible and lightweight design” that uses cushioning to distribute pressure more evenly around the top of the head, which allows you to use them during longer gaming sessions. The on-ear controls also make it great for gaming, as you won’t have to mess with controllers or TV settings.
