Wondering if your hotel room is being watched? Do you feel insecure and want to check that there are no cameras without your knowledge?
If so, a former hacker, Marcus Hutchins, is here to answer any questions you may have.
In a video, he revealed where the cameras are hidden in hotel rooms or on Airbnb.
The former hacker suggests that someone use a flashlight to check for recording devices.
“For example, look at this fire alarm that sits right above the bed. One way to tell if there is a camera is to turn on a bright light.” If there is a photographic lens from the light you will throw, it will make a blue reflection. ” says initially.
Then he checks the digital clock by the bed and says that a USB charger could be a hiding place for a camera.
“These cameras are really very small, and as you can see, they can be hidden anywhere, even a hole in the wall,” he notes.
“You should check for suspicious appliances in the areas leading to the shower, bed or closet,” he said.
