XPG Announces ALPHA WIRED and WIRELESS Gaming/Gaming Mouse Experience

XPG announces the WIRED ALPHA Y WIRELESS gaming mouse in. A 2022 Red Dot Design Award winner, the mouse features an ergonomic design, a low-power PAW-3335 sensor, and high-quality OMRON switches for comfort and performance.

The ALPHA gaming mouse features simple, elegant curved contours with a comfortable grip that reflects XPG’s industrial design language called :Exoskeleton. The design philosophy emphasizes the balance between form and function, with an emphasis on ergonomics. By examining data from a large group of diverse subjects using XPG’s AI-powered hand-scanning application, XPG was able to determine the optimal mouse shape. For example, the overall width of the mouse is derived from the average of finger measurements collected to create a device with an ideal grip size.

The inner workings of the XPG ALPHA will also impress you. Equipped with a high-performance, low-power Pixart PAW-3335 sensor, it offers a range of DPI settings from 100 to 16,000 to meet the needs of all types of games. Additionally, the programmable triangle button on top of the mouse offers great flexibility when connected to XPG PRIME software. The XPG ALPHA is also equipped with high-quality OMRON switches that can withstand 60 million clicks. Connection modes include low-latency 2.4G wireless via a dedicated gaming dongle or standard Bluetooth direct connection for versatility and productivity with up to 60 hours of battery life while using standard LED lighting.

ALPHA’s RGB lighting spreads a subtle and elegant light in 3 dedicated zones that are independent from each other. Lighting settings can be saved via 3 customizable hardware profiles or via XPG PRIME software.

The XPG ALPHA is a software programmable gaming mouse where the buttons, DPI settings, and RGB lighting effects can be customized to meet the user’s needs. Programmable keys, key assignments, and macro settings can be programmed and saved to user profiles for seamless switching between PCs.
