The Philips Hue app update 4.22 brings new options for the entertainment areas and more order in the light scene gallery.

A new version of the Philips Hue app has been available for download on the App Store for a few days now. As usual, the update fixes some bugs, but the new features are especially interesting. An entertainment area can now be set up in the app’s room planner, which points to the Synchronization of game settings and room lighting it is specialized.

The new category of entertainment area”game room“ itself does not yet offer tangible new features. However, the update could be taken as an indication that Philips or Signify plan to introduce more products to light up gaming settings in the future.
