But when analysts recently approached him about his plans for the metaverse, he got excited. “We’re creating history here,” says Zuckerberg. “I think decades from now people will remember the importance of the work done here.”

Eight out of ten metacustomers use one of the products such as Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp at least once a day. And yet, Zuckerberg is now banking it all on a new project: the Metaverse.
