Black Desert Mobile has received a new update focused on improving gameplay efficiency, reducing repetitive activities, and making important items easier to access across player characters. Developer Pearl Abyss announced the changes on August 5, 2026, introducing adjustments to combat content, PvP rotations, rewards, and Treasure item usability.
The update is designed to help Adventurers spend more time on core gameplay experiences by simplifying recurring tasks and improving progression systems.
Black Desert Mobile Removes Several Recurring Activities
Following recent changes to World Boss rotations and Boss Rush difficulty levels, Pearl Abyss has continued restructuring combat-related content. Seven activities have now been removed from the game:
- Murrowak Labyrinth
- Mirage
- Tower of Trials
- Castle of Nightmares
- Tax Wagon
- Guild Elite Raid
- Guild Rush
To reduce the impact of these changes, Pearl Abyss has introduced compensation measures for players. Unclaimed rewards from removed activities will be distributed, while certain entry items can be exchanged for replacement rewards.
Additionally, key progression materials that were previously earned through these activities have been added to other gameplay systems, allowing players to continue collecting essential upgrade resources.
PvP and Competitive Modes Receive New Weekly Rotations
Black Sun and Night of Vengeful Souls Changes
Several competitive activities have been reorganized into weekly schedules. Black Sun and Night of Vengeful Souls, which previously operated on separate days, will now alternate every Friday and Saturday.
As part of the update, weekly monster defeat rewards and ranking rewards for both activities have been doubled. Rewards from their respective bosses have also been increased, giving players additional incentives to participate.
Arena Events Move to Weekly Scheduling
Other competitive modes, including:
- Azunak Arena
- Martial God Tournament: Duo
- Ramoness Arena
will now rotate on Thursdays and Sundays, with one activity available each week.
Rankings will be calculated weekly, and participating Adventurers will receive increased rewards based on their performance.
Treasure Items Become Shared Across Families
One of the major quality-of-life improvements in the update is the expansion of Treasure item accessibility.
Previously, players needed to transfer certain Treasure items between characters. With the new update, these items are now shared across the entire Family system, allowing all characters within the same Family to use them without manual transfers.
The updated shared Treasure system applies to items including:
- Ornette’s Blessed Potion
- Omar Pickaxe
- Florin Hoe
- Trent Axe
- Other Treasure items
The change aims to make character management easier and reduce unnecessary inventory management.
New Events Offer Additional Progression Rewards
Pearl Abyss has also introduced several progression-focused events to support Adventurers.
Players can earn Lucky Hammers by logging in regularly or completing daily missions. These items can be used on the event page to receive rewards such as:
- Restoration Scrolls
- Harmony Scrolls
- Fairy’s Rewards
- Co-op Rush Scrolls
Guild events are also available, offering additional progression materials, including a Chaos Jewel x1/Ah’krad x3 Selection Chest.
Pearl Abyss Continues Improving Black Desert Mobile Experience
The latest Black Desert Mobile update focuses on reducing repetitive gameplay requirements while improving accessibility for both new and experienced players. By streamlining activities, expanding reward availability, and making Treasure items easier to use, Pearl Abyss aims to create a smoother progression experience.
The update is now available for players worldwide, with additional details and future announcements expected through the official Black Desert Mobile channels.
