Honeycomb Aeronautical is expanding its flight simulation hardware lineup with the Foxtrot Takeoff Kit, an all-in-one control package combining the company’s Foxtrot Aviation Stick with a customizable Throttle Box. The new system is scheduled to launch Aug. 31, 2026, for PC and Mac users, with a U.S. suggested retail price of $179.99.
Announced Aug. 13 in Schwerte, Germany, the flight control system is designed for users who want a single setup capable of handling aircraft ranging from single-engine general aviation planes to commercial airliners.
Honeycomb Foxtrot Takeoff Kit Combines Stick and Throttle Controls
The Foxtrot Takeoff Kit includes the Foxtrot Aviation Stick and a separate Throttle Box, bringing several major aircraft controls into one flight simulator setup.
The aviation stick uses an advanced gimbal system with 16-bit Hall Effect magnetic sensors. According to Honeycomb Aeronautical, the system is designed to detect fine control inputs while providing smooth movement without traditional mechanical detents.
Adjustable resistance allows pilots to customize the feel of the controls. The stick also features an ambidextrous design intended for both left- and right-handed users.
Integrated Yaw Control Reduces Need for Rudder Pedals
An integrated twist-axis rudder provides yaw control directly through the Foxtrot Aviation Stick.
That feature allows users to operate a flight simulator without adding a separate set of rudder pedals, potentially making the system more practical for smaller desktop setups.
The design can be used across general aviation, aerobatic and commercial aircraft configurations.
Throttle Box Supports General Aviation and Airliners
The included Throttle Box features four customizable levers that can be configured for different types of simulated aircraft.
It supports reverse thrust and includes an integrated parking brake and dedicated landing gear lever. Interchangeable lever sets and integrated engine switches provide additional configuration options.
The Throttle Box will also be sold separately for customers who already own the Foxtrot Aviation Stick.
Programmable Controls Expand Cockpit Options
Honeycomb has equipped the system with multiple programmable inputs, including hat switches, buttons and rotary controls.
These controls can be configured for different cockpit functions, giving flight simulation enthusiasts additional flexibility when switching between aircraft.
The four throttle levers also feature detents, while the combination of customizable controls is intended to accommodate everything from smaller propeller-driven aircraft to commercial jets.

One of the central features of the Foxtrot Takeoff Kit is its 16-bit control system.
Hall Effect sensors use magnetic sensing rather than relying solely on physical contact to detect movement. In flight simulation equipment, the technology is commonly used to provide precise input detection and smooth control response.
Honeycomb says its advanced gimbal system and magnetic sensors are designed to capture fine movements throughout a simulated flight, from taxi and takeoff to approach and landing.

The official retail SKU is scheduled to be in stock and shipping in the United States through Sporty’s Pilot Shop beginning Aug. 31. Availability in other markets will vary.
Focus Camera is also offering a retailer-created soft bundle earlier in August containing the same products included with the official Foxtrot Takeoff Kit.
Honeycomb noted that the Focus Camera version may ship with the components in separate retail packaging. The distinction involves the packaging and bundling method rather than different hardware.
