RedOctane Games has set a December 10, 2026, release date for Stage Tour, its upcoming rhythm game built around guitar, drums, vocals and multiplayer performances. Revealed during gamescom Opening Night Live, the game will feature more than 90 songs spanning six decades, over 180 officially represented guitars and several hardware bundles aimed at bringing the classic living-room band experience to modern platforms.
Stage Tour Release Date Confirmed at Gamescom
Stage Tour will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The latest trailer, shown during Opening Night Live, featured Mötley Crüe’s “Kickstart My Heart.” Attendees at gamescom in Cologne can also try the game on custom Stage Tour arcade machines.
RedOctane plans to bring playable versions of the game to additional events and destinations before its December release.
Developed by veterans of the earlier rhythm-game era alongside members of the modern rhythm gaming community, Stage Tour is designed to combine familiar genre mechanics with new modes and broader controller support.
More Than 90 Songs Spanning Six Decades
Stage Tour will ship with more than 90 tracks, with 45 songs confirmed so far. Artists represented include Metallica, The Rolling Stones, Radiohead, The Cure, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mötley Crüe, Paramore, Olivia Rodrigo, Slipknot, Muse and Weezer.
Newly revealed tracks join previously announced songs such as Metallica’s “Lux Æterna,” Mötley Crüe’s “Kickstart My Heart,” Olivia Rodrigo’s “ballad of a homeschooled girl,” Radiohead’s “Just,” Paramore’s “For a Pessimist, I’m Pretty Optimistic” and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Dani California.”
Other confirmed selections include The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven,” Megadeth’s “Tornado of Souls,” Slipknot’s “Psychosocial,” Smash Mouth’s “All Star,” Weezer’s “Island in the Sun,” ZZ Top’s “Sharp Dressed Man” and Avril Lavigne’s “Bite Me.”
RedOctane said additional tracks will be announced through its Stage Tour Setlist Reveal campaign ahead of launch.
More Than 180 Gibson, Epiphone and Kramer Guitars
Through a multi-year partnership with Gibson, Stage Tour will include more than 180 authentic guitars from Gibson, Epiphone and Kramer at launch.
Players will be able to unlock instruments while progressing through the game. More than 50 bandmates will also be available, with different styles and cosmetic options creating over 150 unlockable combinations.
“Today we’re pulling back the curtain and giving fans a glimpse at what’s behind,” RedOctane Games Studio Head Simon Ebejer said. “We’ve shared our progress with fans publicly and with members of the community in closed alpha builds earlier than is typical in the games industry, allowing their feedback to shape the development of Stage Tour.”
Tour Mode Adds a Roguelite-Inspired Single-Player Experience
Traditional Quickplay and Practice modes will return alongside new options.
Judgements focuses on performance accuracy, while Karaoke provides a more casual singing-focused experience. The new Tour Mode is a roguelite-inspired single-player mode in which players choose routes, select bandmates and progress through tours that can unfold differently with each playthrough.
RedOctane plans to reveal additional Tour Mode details before launch.
Four-Player Local and Cross-Platform Online Play
Stage Tour supports up to four local players, with combinations of guitar controllers, drum controllers, microphones and standard gamepads.
Keyboard and mouse support will also be available on compatible platforms. Rather than simply translating traditional guitar charts to different devices, the developers say individual note charts have been designed around the supported input methods.
Cross-platform online cooperative play and online leaderboards are also planned.
Stage Tour Pricing and Hardware Bundles
The standalone game will cost $39.99 in the United States. Digital pre-orders will begin closer to release, while wishlisting is already available through supported storefronts.
Hardware pre-orders are open now. The Stage Tour Kramer Guitar & Game Bundle starts at $129.99, combining the game with the official Kramer Guitar Controller.
A larger Stage Tour Band Kit + Game Bundle is priced at $299.99.
Individual hardware pricing includes the Kramer Guitar Controller at $109.99, Drum Kit at $199.99, Wireless Microphone at $29.99 and Wired USB Microphone at $19.99.
The CRKD x Stage Tour collection will add officially licensed Gibson controllers, including an 8K Gibson Explorer 20th Anniversary Edition for $129.99 and Gibson Les Paul Oxblood models starting at $119.99.
