After months of rumors about the Mac, Apple announced the date of a new event

Dispel rumors

Speculation has circulated for months that Apple is preparing to launch new MacBook Pro models. The new MacBooks would be Apple’s latest move to ditch the Intel chips and replace them with an Arm-based processor called the M1X, which Apple is engineering.

Other long-awaited features include a return to fan-favorite MacBook features such as MagSafe magnetic charging, an HDMI port, and an SD card slot. The OLED touch panel may disappear.

There are rumors that the same M1X processor will be used in the upgraded high-end Mac Mini. The new computer is reported to have more ports than last year’s M1: two Thunderbolt / USB 4 Type-C ports and two USB Type-A ports. As a result of these changes, the new Mac Mini should be much more suitable for powerful users.

Finally, Apple may announce a redesigned pair of AirPods earbuds that will be the third-generation genuine wireless earbuds. The AirPods are expected to have a similar design to the AirPods Pro, with shorter stems and a redesigned charging case.
