Another indie developer suggests rejecting Sony’s PS Store sales request

Sony may be very happy to discount PlayStation Store games at the request of developers, but I’ve heard for weeks that Japanese giants haven’t helped in that sector. The latest statement is the fame of Lucas Pope of Return of the Obra Dinn. This is currently half the price on almost all platforms except PlayStation 4.

Asked if Sony’s system would get a discount, this is what the Pope replied:

It’s really amazing, as it’s not hard to imagine that such a promotion would increase the overall sales of the developer. The Japanese giant has reduced it by 30%.

This can be very frustrating for a lively team. The PlayStation installation base is generally too large to be ignored, but it cannot be a particularly attractive platform for developing PS4. The author would have bought the Return of the Obra Dinn for half the price! This is bad news for everyone!
