Black Desert Mobile is marking the first anniversary of its united global server with a five-week in-game celebration featuring themed events, daily rewards, experience bonuses and a special livestream. Developer Pearl Abyss said the anniversary activities will run from Aug. 18 through Sept. 22, 2026.
Black Desert Mobile Celebrates One Year of United Global Server
The anniversary marks one year since Pearl Abyss combined the game’s global Asia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau servers on Aug. 19, 2025, as part of its “UNITED SERVER” initiative.
To commemorate the milestone, Black Desert Mobile is taking players on a virtual “World Tour.” Each week of the anniversary celebration will focus on one of five regions: Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa and Oceania.
Players will have access to continent-themed activities, daily rewards and opportunities to increase their characters’ progression throughout the event period.
Anniversary Cake Provides 50% Combat EXP Boost
One of the main anniversary features is a special first-anniversary cake appearing in towns throughout the game.
Players who interact with the cake can receive a 24-hour 50% Combat EXP buff, providing an additional progression bonus while participating in the anniversary activities.
The “Memories We Make Together” collection event will also give players another reason to complete regular gameplay and anniversary challenges. Participants can collect designated items and use them to complete an anniversary collection, unlocking various buffs and rewards.
Advent Calendar Adds Weekly Rewards
Pearl Abyss is introducing a first-anniversary Advent Calendar that provides additional weekly rewards throughout the celebration.
Players will also be able to challenge the World Boss Piku, with opportunities to obtain valuable in-game items such as Void Breath and Eye of the Void.
The combination of recurring rewards, combat bonuses and boss encounters is designed to give both regular and returning players activities to pursue throughout the five-week event.
First Week of World Tour Focuses on Asia
Asia will serve as the first destination in the anniversary World Tour.
Activities during the opening week include the “Bright Lantern Collection Mission,” which allows players to gather lanterns through gameplay and exchange them for rewards at a dedicated event shop.
An “Land of the Morning Light Market” will also offer daily and weekly items. Available rewards include Black Shrine entry tickets and Tangled Time.
Additional regions will be highlighted as the World Tour continues through September, extending the anniversary programming across the full five-week period.
Pearl Abyss Plans Special Anniversary Livestream
Pearl Abyss will hold a dedicated first-anniversary livestream on Aug. 19 at 5:30 p.m. Korea Standard Time on the official Black Desert Mobile YouTube channel.
The broadcast will include several anniversary programs and opportunities for the game’s community to participate. One planned feature is a lucky-number drawing that will give participating adventurers opportunities to earn additional rewards.
The livestream adds a community-focused component to the in-game celebration as Pearl Abyss recognizes the first year since the server consolidation.
United Server Reaches First Major Milestone
The anniversary reflects a significant milestone for Black Desert Mobile following the August 2025 server unification. Bringing previously separate regional servers together under the UNITED SERVER initiative created a broader shared environment for players across multiple markets.
For U.S. and other international players, the five-week World Tour provides a series of rotating activities rather than limiting the anniversary to a single day.
With regional events, a 50% Combat EXP bonus, collection missions, World Boss rewards and an anniversary livestream planned through Sept. 22, Pearl Abyss is using the milestone to provide several weeks of new activities for the global Black Desert Mobile community.
