December 2020: Major game releases for PS5 / PS4, Xbox Series X / One, Nintendo Switch, and PC

December is officially here. That means it’s coming soon at the end of 2020. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t any new games to look forward to before the end of the year. It’s pretty light for new releases this month, but there will be some notable games in the coming weeks on the PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PCs, Switches, and final-generation consoles.

Arguably the biggest release is the long-awaited (and long-delayed) Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red, but it’s not the only game to watch this month. Life Is Strange developer Dontnod releases the surreal thriller Twin Mirror at the beginning of the month, with the spectacular Immortals Fenyx Rising arriving on December 3rd, inspired by Ubisoft’s Breath of the Wild.

There are also some exciting retro releases this month. Nintendo officially localized the first Fire Emblem game “Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon & Blade of Light” for Switch on December 4, and Square Enix hybridized the first three Fire Emblem Legend games in the Collection of later this month.
