Beyond Light Expansion Destiny 2 Less than a day ago, ingenious players have already found a way to raise their power levels at record speeds. Beyond Light comes with a soft cap with a power level of 1200, and players have already hit in 60-90 minutes.
As explained in the video above, you need to spam certain lost sectors to achieve the cap quickly. It’s pretty boring (given how much fun it’s to play new ones), but it doesn’t lower the level, making it easier to play the campaign and saving upgrade modules along the way.
The lost sector in question is called Widow’s Walk and is to the left of the Trostland spawn in the EDZ. When you get there (with the fire team if you really want to go fast), simply kill the boss. In our, uh, test, he dropped the legend every time. For some reason, the gear is 10 levels higher than it is now. In other words, you can boost quickly. To update the lost sector, the screen will display the word “Trostland” and run out until you indicate you are in a new area. Rinse and repeat.
Interestingly, Beyond Light has new ghost mods, but in most cases it’s important to hit that softcap as soon as possible. The campaign has sections that must be at least level 1160. So if you get there now, you can save some crushing later.
