“Every stage counts” – Lffingen

Date:

Job interview BZ with Susanne Marx on the success of cycling in the town.

. In the city biking undertaking in Lffingen, the Bachheim-Unadingen most important university coated the next most kilometers, right after the ski club’s mountain bike department. Martin Wunderle spoke with director Susanne Marx.

BZ: How several persons from elementary school participated in city biking?
Marx: Ten or eleven. We sort a team beforehand and invite dad and mom for a stroll. On the other hand, the procedure does not explain to you who basically drove.
BZ: What is actually so difficult about that?
Marx: You have to download an application and activate it at startup. At the conclusion of the route, it displays the kilometers traveled. It is not effortless for young children mainly because they do not have a mobile cellphone still, and it is nearly impossible to identify in hindsight how much a boy or girl has traveled.
BZ: Who was driving much more, the people of the pupils or the instructors?
Marx: The households. The Freiburg instructors rode their bikes to their conference stage, but did not participate. I drove all over 200 kilometers – my day-to-day route to university, shopping trips to Lffingen, and a couple modest excursions.
BZ: What was far more essential, physical effectively-staying or avoiding unsafe substances?
Marx: Of course, the two points play an crucial part in our life. Keeping healthful by way of workout in a healthy ecosystem would be desirable. Quite a few modest actions usually shift much more than a big scale motion, which is why it was significant for us to participate in urban biking.
BZ: Will your university be there yet again up coming 12 months?
Marx: In any scenario. And we hope extra family members get included. And if there are only a number of that we can achieve. Each individual phase, no matter how compact, counts.

Susanne marx teaches elementary university and has been the rector since 2014
