If you are still looking for a gaming monitor that can not only occupy a desk but also a cabinet, the Gigabyte S55U is the right choice. The 54.6-inch device with a quantum dot panel wants to combine the dimensions of a television with the functions of a monitor, but it fails with the connections: the image signals only reach the 4-UHD panel with 120 Hertz via HDMI 2.1 and VA technology. There is no display port and should not be very practical due to the length of the cable.
The Gigabyte S55U offers the aforementioned VA panel with 3,840 x 2,160 pixels and 120 Hertz, which achieves 96 percent DCI-P3 and 140 percent SRGB, as well as a contrast ratio of 5,000:1.
