Texas company Glorious PC Gaming Race introduced its latest Glorious Model I mouse in April. Now the gaming mouse should be getting an update. The Glorious Model I 2 is designed to offer a more refined ergonomic shape that is especially suitable for medium to large hands.

Texas company Glorious PC Gaming Race is best known for its lightweight mice. The manufacturer reintroduced it only in April with the Glorious Model I under evidence. The mouse is aimed at FPS, MMO and MOBA gamers and can save a few grams thanks to the perforated honeycomb structure. Now, however, the mouse that was just introduced is getting an update. Glorious PC Gaming Race has now announced the Model I 2, which is bound to inspire medium and large hands in particular with its more refined ergonomic shape.

Further development of the Model I arrives at the end of January.

The Model I 2 must be able to be adjusted precisely. In addition to the DPI number for the mouse, the debounce time between primary button clicks can also be adjusted between 0 and 16 milliseconds. In addition, the polling rate can be configured up to 1000 Hertz and the lift-off distance between 1 and 2 millimeters. The respective settings can be saved to three different profiles on the mouse and accessed via one of nine configurable buttons.

The Glorious Model I 2 should also impress with switches developed by Glorious themselves, which should withstand 80 million clicks. The right-handed wireless mouse is also equipped with the BAMF 2.0 optical sensor, which has a maximum resolution of 26,000 DPI. The mouse can be paired over a 2.4 gigahertz wireless connection or Bluetooth 5.2 LE. Battery life varies a lot though: Glorious specs 110 hours without RGB at 2.4 gigahertz and 210 hours over Bluetooth.

The Glorious Model I 2 can now be reserved in black and white. The input device is priced at 129.90 euros. However, those interested will have to wait a little longer for the new Glorious PC Gaming Race mouse. The new model is not expected to be delivered until the end of January 2023.
