Microsoft Announced that their latest version of Xbox Stereo Headset is now available for pre-order. With the new product, Microsoft says it wanted to bring clear microphone performance, high-quality ear cushions, and a volume control dial, on the right ear cup, into the entry-level headphone category. Since it uses a 3.5mm audio jack, you can use the headphones on consoles, PCs, and mobile devices.
The new Xbox Stereo Headset is designed similarly to the Xbox Wireless Headset in that it features a “flexible and lightweight design” that uses cushioning to distribute pressure more evenly around the top of the head, which allows you to use them during longer gaming sessions. The on-ear controls also make it great for gaming, as you won’t have to mess with controllers or TV settings.
Discussing the output quality of Xbox stereo headsets, Jessica Tsujikawa, Xbox Senior Product Marketing Manager, said:
“To create the best possible gaming, group chat, music and movie experience, the team adjusted the headphones to replicate the desired audio recording source that the creators wanted me to experience. The result is hearing audio as close to how it was recorded as possible, ensuring clean mid and high frequency performance with powerful bass. And to take your audio one step further, the Xbox Stereo Headset supports high-fidelity spatial audio technologies such as Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos and DTS Headphone: X (may require additional purchases or app downloads). ‘
If you are interested in purchasing the Xbox Stereo Headset, go to Microsoft Store . It will cost you $ 59.99 worldwide and will launch on September 21, 2021. You can also find them at other select retailers if you want to pick them up in person.
