Last month we were all amused and fixed by some Approaching Ayatsuri doll Discovered in the landscape of Microsoft Flight Simulator. And now there is curiosity that distorts the new reality.
A strange, gaping rift was found in Brazil. And even stranger, there is an airport below it.
This yawning crevice seems to have been first discovered By Reversed Window At Reddit, the courage to take a taxi directly below the plane. I did the same, and it’s weird there. It’s very strange.
When you dive into the pit, you’ll actually see a small runway at the bottom. It’s clearly Lagoa Nova, a small airfield in Brazil, which you can find by searching the world map in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Choose it as your destination airport and check it out for yourself. You can’t miss it. Because it’s a huge, capricious crevice.
These weird monoliths we saw are most likely due to a typo (the building was entered as the 200th floor instead of the 2nd floor), and perhaps the altitude of this airfield was incorrect in a spreadsheet somewhere. This strange pit is a black hole trying to suck up the planet from the inside.
The Lagoa Nova runway is at the bottom of the rift and can also be set as the departure airport. This will spawn an airplane on the runway of the hole. Note: It’s almost impossible to take off from it, but at least you can easily visit another dimension.
As expected, I was flying an airplane, not a rocket ship, so I couldn’t raise the nose of the airplane vertically.
