The video shows a Kanlao player using an infinite combo. It’s not easy to achieve, but it’s basically unstoppable and can be a game breaker. Players are now afraid that Kanlao fighters will abuse this move in online mode. However, performing endless combos is so difficult that many gamers are unlikely to encounter a Kanlao opponent who can take advantage of this move.
As Kompetitor points out in the video below, the endless combo includes the character’s “possessed hat” movement. This move has enough hit advantage that players can quickly link Kanlao’s jab moves. But it’s difficult to pull because it’s a one-frame link. As a result, very precise timing is required. This can be too much for most players to run online. But if you can manage it, your opponent can literally do nothing about it.

This endless combo seems to be feasible thanks to a new patch. Either way, it needs to be addressed and fixed, but at the time of publication, NetherRealm Studios is not aware of this issue.
