OnlyOffice Docs can now be booked as a cloud service: The developers now officially offer a SaaS (Software as a Service) package and take over the complete administration of the software. These are the same apps as the local version, but users can get them with just a few clicks and don’t have to manually configure them first.
Depending on your preference, OnlyOffice can also be connected from the cloud to any storage platform such as Nextcloud or ownCloud, as well as a document management system; the appropriate integrations are available as so-called apps, as usual. For end users themselves, there are no changes compared to the self-hosted variant.
To get started exclusively on Amazon AWS
OnlyOffice has chosen Amazon AWS to host the SaaS instances, but intends to add other providers to choose from in the future. Depending on the license, clients get a dedicated server, but with this VIP plan, the number of users must be determined in advance. The enterprise variant, for which the provider charges US$8 per user per month, is more flexible.

Docs is currently at version 7.2, which was released in September 2022 and added a marketplace for plugins and a special preview mode to the package, among other things.
