Port of Jumanah, an underwater action-adventure inspired by the Arabian Gulf’s pearl-diving heritage, is now available on PC and PlayStation. Developed by Red Dunes Games and Agate, the game combines underwater expeditions, combat, equipment upgrades and port-building mechanics with a colorful fantasy setting.
Port of Jumanah Sends Players Into Dangerous Waters
Red Dunes Games and Agate announced the release of Port of Jumanah on Steam, the Epic Games Store and PlayStation Store on September 7. A new full-release trailer also highlights the game’s underwater exploration, sea creatures, environments and evolving port.
Players take control of Mansour, a pearl diver who sets out on a dangerous adventure beneath the sea. Each expedition involves exploring underwater environments, fighting unusual creatures, collecting resources and making decisions that can affect the course of a run.
The resources and allies recovered during these expeditions can then be brought back to Jumanah, where players work to restore and expand the port. Progress on shore creates additional opportunities for later dives.
Pearl-Diving History Meets Fantasy and Humor
The game draws inspiration from the long history of pearl diving in the Arabian Gulf, an industry that played an important economic and cultural role in the region before the rise of the modern oil economy.
Rather than presenting that history as a strict simulation, Port of Jumanah combines regional influences with fantasy, humor and exaggerated encounters.

Players Can Experiment With Different Loadouts
Equipment can be upgraded, while different combinations allow players to adjust their approach to combat and exploration. The system encourages experimentation as players encounter stronger enemies and changing conditions beneath the surface.
Expeditions are designed to offer varying dangers and opportunities, with sea monsters and other challenges standing between players and valuable discoveries.
Unusual allies can also be recruited during the journey. These characters may provide assistance or introduce additional complications, adding another element of unpredictability to each adventure.
Rebuilding Jumanah Is Part of Long-Term Progression
Exploration below the surface is connected directly to progression on land. Discoveries made during dives can be used to rebuild Jumanah’s struggling port, gradually transforming the settlement and opening new possibilities for future expeditions.
This structure creates a cycle between underwater exploration and development on shore. Players dive for resources and opportunities, return to improve the port and then head back into more dangerous waters with new options available.
The game also emphasizes narrative and humor alongside its combat and progression systems, presenting a maritime fantasy world populated by colorful characters and unusual creatures.
