Resident Evil Village on PC – Here are the system requirements

We have to wait May 07 before seeing Resident Evil Village disembark on the platforms. But we already know the required settings to run the PC version of the game.

Published and developed by Capcom, Resident Evil Village is one of the most anticipated games of 2021. It will officially launch on May 7 on PC, Google Stadia and other consoles. But while they wait for this official presentation, players can already learn about the PC configurations necessary to play and take advantage of ray tracing.

Minimum and recommended settings

You don’t need to change your PC or really optimize it. For the design of its game, Capcom used its original engine, the RE Engine. For this, the required settings are really modest, as players will be entitled to a “Performance Prioritization” mode.

  • Operating system: Windows 10, 64-bit;
  • DirectX 12;
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-8700 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600;
  • RAM : 16 Go;
  • Graphic card : AMD Radeon RX 5700 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070.
  • Disk space: a stranger.

Recommended settings for ray tracing

For take advantage of ray tracing, the settings required by Resident Evil Village are not really greedy. Also, the settings hardly change. What you need to make sure is only the graphics card compatibility.

  • Operating system: Windows 10, 64-bit, V.2004 or newer;
  • DirectX 12;
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-8700 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600;
  • RAM : 16 Go;
  • Graphic card : AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (4k / 45fps) / RTX 2070 Ti (4k / 60fps) / RX 6900 XT (4K / 60fps) / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 (4k / 45fps);
  • Disk space: a stranger.

Since the game is a more developed version of Resident Evil 7, many players are undoubtedly expecting more demanding settings. Fortunately it is not. It will only be necessary to make some updates to be able to play this work that will be released on May 7, 2021 also on PS4, PS5, Xbox one, Xbox Series X / S.
