Rocket League Season 7 is upon us! Yesterday, Friday, Psyonix unveiled the official Season 7 gameplay trailer, giving us a first look at the new features. The seventh season after the big change Free to Play focuses on glitz and glamour. It’s going to be classy in Rocket League.
You can expect flashing cameras, a red carpet, marble floors, and of course a new battle car, which is based on a luxury sedan and will complete the package. The Utopia Colosseum map, where stars and would-be stars are supposed to gather, is made to order.
start next week
Rocket League Season 7 officially kicks off on June 15, so it’s already next Wednesday. The corresponding patch will be installed one day before. With us, this is activated in the evening from Tuesday to Wednesday at 1 am. In addition to the noble rewards and extras of the new Rocket Pass and the prepared arena (“Utopia Colosseum (gold)”), new tournament rewards are integrated again, which should provide variety and fun.
The new Season 7 Battle Car is called “Maestro”, and at first glance, it resembles a Rolls-Royce. Newly introduced gold painted items match the luxury theme, which you can find in the pro tiers of the new Rocket Pass. Some of the new rewards, particularly noble ones, will require levels up to 150, according to Psyonix in the announcement.
A day after the start of the new Rocket League season, on Thursday June 16, the new Blueprint series “Select Favorites 2” will also be released, featuring some particularly popular skins from the past. Will include Dueling Dragons Goal Explosion, Zomba Wheels, and Interstellar Decal.
More features will be added later in Season 7, including updates to the Custom Training Pack. In summer there are also celebrations for the seventh anniversary of Rocket League, for which no other news, events or extras have been announced.
