Samsung also unveiled its new 2022 Smart Hub at its Unbox & Discover digital product event. It should be even easier to consume digital content on the Smart TV from a home screen.

With its Smart Hub 2022, which is based on its own Tizen operating system, Samsung relies on thematic grouping of content. To do this, three main categories were created, which can be selected through the side menu: “Games”, “Environment” and “Media”.
While “Games” should be pretty self-explanatory, the “Media” homepage includes your favorite streaming apps like Netflix and Disney+, but also offers direct access to linear TV programming and free streaming TV from Samsung TV+: there are the manufacturer’s 8K televisions. Meanwhile, “Ambience” mode is a glorified screensaver that can apparently aesthetically cleverly adapt to the room decor. It is also possible to display your own photo galleries or NFTs in this deco mode.
