Sony wants to install PS5 in Honda electric vehicles: competition for Tesla’s game car?

Sony and Honda plan to jointly launch an electric car that will have a PlayStation 5 built into it. The plan for the product that competes with Tesla’s Model X, the mobile game console with an AMD processor and RDNA 2 graphics card, is very specific.

Play while the car drives itself

In September, Sony and Honda formed a joint venture called Sony Honda Mobility. The new partner company that aims to make cars with integrated Sony entertainment. The first ideas include, according to the financial timesvehicles related to music, movies and the PlayStation 5.

“Sony has content, service and entertainment technology that moves people. The first car model to appear as part of this partnership is expected to launch in North America in early 2025. It is not yet publicly known what technology it will be equipped with. The solution to this is autonomous driving.” This feature should definitely be on board vehicles. Even the driver could use the DualSense controller. However, all of this will definitely take some time.
