Sticky Business Expands With Seaside Tales DLC Inspired by England’s Cornish Coast

Date:

Cozy Sticker Shop Simulator Heads to the Beach in New 2026 Expansion

WIESBADEN, Germany — Indie developer Spellgarden Games and publisher Assemble Entertainment have announced Seaside Tales, a new downloadable expansion for the popular cozy simulation game Sticky Business, set to launch in 2026 for PC and consoles.

The expansion was unveiled during the World Ocean Day Steam event organized by Whale and Dolphin Conservation, an international nonprofit focused on protecting whales and dolphins worldwide.

Designed around the atmosphere of England’s Cornish coastline, Seaside Tales introduces new stories, characters, and collectible sticker content aimed at fans of relaxing simulation and crafting games — a genre that has continued gaining momentum among U.S. players seeking low-stress gaming experiences.

Seaside-Themed Stories Bring New Adventures to Sticky Business

The DLC expands the original gameplay with 10 new customer storylines centered on life by the sea. Players will encounter narratives set in coastal towns, surf competitions, seaside cafés, scout camps, pirate conventions, and lighthouse romances.

The Cornish coast inspiration adds a nostalgic beach-town aesthetic reminiscent of classic Atlantic and Pacific coastal destinations familiar to American audiences, blending vacation charm with the game’s signature wholesome storytelling.

New Content Included in Seaside Tales

Players purchasing the expansion will receive:

  • 113 new stickers
  • 39 additional color variants
  • 8 collectible goodies
  • 6 glitter paper designs
  • 10 character portraits
  • 8 final artwork images

The additional customization options are designed to expand the game’s core creative loop, where players design sticker packs and manage an online stationery shop while interacting with customers through personal messages and story-driven exchanges.

Sticky Business Became a Surprise Indie Hit

Originally released in 2023, Sticky Business emerged as one of the standout cozy indie titles of the year. The game offered a softer, more personal take on the business simulation genre, emphasizing creativity and emotional storytelling over competition or high-pressure management mechanics.

Players run a digital sticker shop, designing products and packaging orders while gradually learning about customers’ personal lives through letters and conversations.

The game’s laid-back gameplay and pixel-art presentation helped it gain a strong following among fans of cozy gaming communities on platforms such as Steam and Nintendo Switch, particularly in the United States where relaxing life-simulation titles continue to perform well.

Release Date and Pricing

Sticky Business: Seaside Tales is scheduled for release in 2026 on PC and consoles.

The DLC will be priced at €3.99, which converts to roughly $4.50 in U.S. currency depending on exchange rates at launch.
