Tesla seems to be launching cars with its own Tesla Cam / Sentry Mode storage device.
Sentry Mode is Tesla’s integrated in-vehicle surveillance system that uses an in-vehicle autopilot camera to record potential vandalism and other incidents.
Tesla owners need to connect a storage device to one of the USB ports on the center console, where the footage recorded by the Sentry mode and Teslacam, the car manufacturer’s dashcam feature, is stored.
