To take advantage of the 120+ Hz high-resolution displays on the new Chromebooks for cloud gaming, we’ve worked with NVIDIA to enable GeForce NOW’s highest RTX 3080 membership tier on these devices. With this level you can play games like Fortnite, Cyberpunk 2077, Crysis 3 Remastered and more at up to 120 FPS and 1600p resolution.

RTX 3080 membership also enhances your gaming experience with features like ray tracing, which simulates how light behaves in the real world to display images as realistically as possible. The GeForce NOW app comes pre-installed on gaming Chromebooks, making it even easier to access your favorite games.

At the same time, we’ve been working with Microsoft to bring Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) to a installable web application to integrate into the Chromebook. You can easily access the app via xbox.com/play install.
