The hype about Fortnite has yet to be broken. Now developer Epic Games announces the upcoming season of Fortnite Champion Series.
Epic Games has announced that the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) will take place in a trio format in 2021. Details on potential prizes, transfer times, game settings and other tournament offerings were also announced.
E-SPORTERS CAN ENJOY 20 MILLION. US DOLLARS TO ENJOY THE PRIZE MONEY
The creators of Fortnite hope to create an experience more consistent with the 2021 season of FNCS than in previous series. This is also reflected in the prizes: in the most important part of the Fortnite competition, the FNCS, this year a prize pool of US $ 20 million will be distributed; in 2020 it was US $ 17 million. Of this, US $ 1.35 million is available to Europe for each of the four FNCS seasons. In the middle and end of the year there will be even bigger tournaments in which the best players in the FNCS will be able to compete for additional prize money.
The FNCS schedule for Chapter 2 – Season 5:
- Rank 1: February 4-7
- Rank 2: February 11-14
- Classification 3: February 18-21
- Break: February 25-28
- Semifinals: March 5-7
- Restart Round: March 12-13
