Twisted Tower Celebrates Successful PC Launch With New Accolades Trailer

Date:

Twisted Tower, the action-adventure first-person shooter from developer Thomas Brush and publisher 3D Realms, has received a new accolades trailer following its recent PC launch. The game combines fast-paced combat, horror elements and a surreal 1950s theme park setting filled with dangerous attractions, corrupted fairy-tale mascots and deadly traps.

New Trailer Highlights Twisted Tower’s Early Reception

Released Sept. 2, 2026, the accolades trailer showcases some of the response Twisted Tower has received since its debut. The title is published by Saber Interactive’s 3D Realms label and developed by independent creator Thomas Brush.

The game draws inspiration from recognizable influences including BioShock and classic American theme parks such as Disneyland, blending colorful amusement-park imagery with a darker horror atmosphere.

At the center of the experience is a mysterious tower located within an abandoned 1950s theme park. Players must climb through increasingly dangerous floors while confronting hostile mascots, navigating traps and uncovering secrets connected to the park.

Fast-Paced Combat Meets a Twisted Theme Park

Twisted Tower combines first-person shooting with movement mechanics designed to keep players moving through its unusual environments.

Players Can Jump, Dash and Grapple Through the Tower

Players can jump, dash and grapple while fighting enemies and navigating puzzles. Combat revolves around an arsenal of toy-inspired weapons, including a dart-firing Tommy Gun.

The objective goes beyond simply reaching the top. The protagonist enters the tower in an attempt to save the love of his life, while memories and attractions from the abandoned park gradually take on more disturbing forms.

Each floor introduces additional dangers, creating a structure that encourages players to remain alert as they advance. Players can spend time exploring the park’s strange attractions and searching for secrets or move quickly through the tower with weapons drawn.

1950s Americana Provides the Backdrop for the Horror

The abandoned theme park gives Twisted Tower a setting rooted in mid-20th-century American entertainment culture. Its fairy-tale characters and amusement attractions initially evoke the colorful family destinations associated with the era, but the game transforms those familiar elements into horror imagery.

That contrast is central to the game’s atmosphere. Cheerful mascots become threatening enemies, attractions hide deadly hazards and nostalgic environments are reshaped into unsettling spaces.

The combination allows Twisted Tower to mix action, puzzles and environmental exploration without abandoning its horror focus.

Twisted Tower Available on PC for $14.99

Twisted Tower is currently available for PC through Steam for $14.99.

The new accolades trailer arrives as 3D Realms and Thomas Brush continue to promote the title following its launch. Players can also follow future updates through the game’s official community channels.

With its combination of fast first-person combat, mobility mechanics and a nightmarish interpretation of a 1950s amusement park, Twisted Tower aims to distinguish itself through an unusual blend of nostalgic imagery and modern action-horror gameplay.
