Microsoft presents us with a survey earlier this week on Windows 11 and expectations for the new operating system. Following the survey of 11,000 users on the adoption of Windows 11 and how the operating system feels, the details have been obtained below.
I discovered, for example, that better than 50% of respondents will immediately upgrade to Windows 11. The same survey also shows that Microsoft has considerable system requirements, with a quarter of users failing the official test. A third of those surveyed are willing to switch to a touch device after the launch of Windows 11, and when it comes to Windows 7 users, the percentage reaches 46%. The data for this study were obtained using 11,097 replies, and 22% of those surveyed are from the United States. The research includes responses from users in 177 countries, with 89% of them currently using Windows 10. 51% of those surveyed were Windows Insiders users. As an interesting mention, Windows 11 convinced 17% of respondents to become Microsoft Insiders just to try Win 11 before the rest of the world.
We expect the debut of this OS in October, in a final and stable version. Among its great novelties are background updates, the fact that it can run native Android applications and prioritize games.
