It means another 1,012 people tested positive on Saturday, August 15, 2020.
These are the figures for the North West
In the North West today (Sunday, August 16, 2020), there has been a total of 49,704 confirmed cases since testing began, an increase of 205 since the last data update.
There are currently 138 people in the region’s hospitals who are being treated for COVID-19, including 18 on ventilation.
