A landslide moved the Salzkammergutstrasse close to Traunkirchen (Gmunden district) on Saturday night time. The mud stream happened quickly in entrance of the Sonnstein tunnel.
The landslide happened on Saturday night time following a storm with large rain from Kleiner Sonnstein on the Salzkammergutstraße in the municipality of Traunkirchen. The path right away in front of the tunnel entrance was traced by way of rubble and filth. The stone trapnet has been crammed with particles. Law enforcement and street routine maintenance shut the road.
The Salzkammergutstraße is now fully shut involving Traunkirchen and Ebensee am Traunsee. Cars and trucks can just take Großalmstrasse and Seeleitenstrasse by way of Bad Ischl in a significant space.
