Video game workshop for teens during the fall break – LOZ-News

Date:

“Building Escape Rooms with Minetest”

Reading time: 1 minute

Geesthacht (LOZ). As part of “Code Week”, the Geesthacht City Library is organizing a free online workshop for young people aged 13 and over on Thursday, October 14 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Media educator Thilo Lübker from Creative Gaming e. V. will carry out the event.

Guided by the Zoom video conferencing platform, participants create their own escape room in the Minetest game.

Puzzles, branching mazes, and tasks are playfully designed, can only be solved as a team, and ultimately put the work of others to the test.

In the Minetest game, things can be made so easy that fun is guaranteed.

Stable Internet access, a laptop / PC with a headset, and safe use of the keyboard and mouse are prerequisites for participation.

All participants must have previously installed the free Minetest game.

The number of places available is limited. You can register now at the Geesthacht Public Library.
