google keyboard app gboard has been focused on media content for a long time and constantly adding new features to both stickers and emojis. that was recently Easier sticker insertion And with a new feature, emojis are taken to the extreme: texts can be automatically illustrated or even replaced entirely.

A picture is worth a thousand words. There is certainly some truth to that saying, but should it also be a motto for a keyboard app? The Gboard team says: YES!. At least one user has seen a new button appear in their autocomplete bar these days that contains a magic icon and works the same way. With a touch, the text already entered is automatically filled with emojis.

Of course, emojis are related to text, as you can see in the example above. Seven emojis in two words may be too good, but you can delete them again. Instead of searching for suitable emojis, you can delete the unsuitable ones, which is certainly faster. But it is also interesting that this button not only underlines individual words with emojis, but can also completely replace them.

The description says “Tap the emojify key to add emojis within a sentence or replace all text with emojis.” It sounds exciting, but it’s certainly not for all users. Everyone probably has someone in their contacts who uses emojis more than words to communicate and let the great guessing game begin. There could be more soon…
