KRAFTON, Inc. unveils the first images of ANA, the company’s virtual human powered by hyper-realism, rigging, and deep learning. ANA was designed to appeal to a global audience and establish KRAFTON’s Web 3.0 ecosystem. ANA is the first virtual human being introduced by KRAFTON since the company’s original plan last February through a technical demo was revealed.
KRAFTON has been working internally to create a virtual human being that can be accepted and adopted by audiences around the world. Developed using the hyper-realistic production technology of the Unreal Engine, ANA features a hyper-realistic look that blurs the lines between a digital character and a real human being. With her human-like features, such as baby hair and fluff on her skin, ANA looks like any other virtual human currently in existence based on other technologies.
Advanced facial rigging technology delicately expresses the movement of the pupil, fine facial muscles, and wrinkles, allowing natural joint movement throughout the body. In addition, deep learning technologies such as advanced speech synthesis help create an intelligent, artificial voice for ANA, allowing her to act and sing like a real human.
