Burgle Supply Company Launches Out of Early Access With New Levels, Monsters and Co-Op Chaos

Date:

Indie developer Terrible Posture Games has officially launched Burgle Supply Company version 1.0 on PC via Steam, expanding the cooperative horror-comedy game with new maps, enemies, collectibles and customization features.

Previously known as Good Boy during development, the game combines multiplayer heist gameplay with absurd horror elements, tasking players with stealing valuables from a bizarre suburban neighborhood filled with deadly creatures and unpredictable hazards.

The full release arrives after an extended Early Access period shaped heavily by community feedback, according to the Boston-based studio.

Co-Op Horror Heists Take Center Stage

In Burgle Supply Company, teams of up to six players work together to break into homes, collect valuable loot and escape before the neighborhood’s monstrous residents catch them.

Players transport stolen items back to a plain white van while attempting to complete optional challenges that unlock additional rewards and upgrades.

The game leans heavily into slapstick multiplayer chaos, combining stealth mechanics with horror-inspired enemies and physics-driven accidents often caused by teammates themselves.

That mix of comedy and co-op survival gameplay has become increasingly popular among PC players, especially following the success of viral multiplayer horror games on Twitch and YouTube.

New Enemies and “Cursed” Pets Added in Version 1.0

The 1.0 update introduces several new threats throughout the game’s expanding collection of levels.

Among the most notable additions is a mutant dog that hunts players during missions. Developers say teams must move quickly and quietly to avoid becoming “masked kibble.”

Other hazards include:

  • Ghost moths
  • Lobster-like fish creatures
  • Explosive egg-laying slugs
  • Environmental dangers
  • Friendly-fire accidents caused by teammates

Terrible Posture Games continues to emphasize the game’s intentionally chaotic tone, blending horror aesthetics with exaggerated humor rather than traditional survival horror tension.

New Maps Expand the Neighborhood

The full release also adds a dozen new environments for players to explore and rob.

According to the studio, the new locations include:

  • Graveyards
  • Secret laboratories
  • Renaissance fairs
  • Giant bathrooms
  • Additional surreal and horror-themed settings

The unusual environments reinforce the game’s intentionally bizarre world design, which mixes suburban comedy with nightmare-inspired imagery.

Customization and Unlockable Content Grow Significantly

Version 1.0 also dramatically expands customization options.

Players can now collect more than 130 masks and outfits, including 80 newly added masks introduced in the full release.

Some of the new “Key” masks provide gameplay advantages by unlocking hidden areas during missions.

Outside of active heists, players return to a hidden basement headquarters where they can purchase upgrades, customize their hideout and unlock decorative furnishings using money earned during successful robberies.

Developers Say Community Feedback Shaped the Full Release

Terrible Posture Games credited player feedback during Early Access for helping improve the game ahead of its official launch.

“Thanks to the feedback from our community, we’ve been able to make the most of the Early Access period and bolster Burgle Supply Company with plenty of improvements and new content,” said Joe Mirabello, creative director at Terrible Posture Games.

Mirabello described the 1.0 version as a larger and more polished experience featuring new enemies, expanded maps and additional surprises designed for multiplayer sessions with friends.

Multiplayer Horror Games Continue to Thrive on PC

The launch of Burgle Supply Company comes amid sustained popularity for cooperative indie horror games, particularly on PC storefronts like Steam.

Games blending humor, teamwork and horror mechanics have found large audiences in recent years, especially among content creators and livestream communities. Titles that encourage unpredictable player interactions and comedic failures often perform well on streaming platforms, helping smaller indie studios build visibility without blockbuster budgets.

Terrible Posture Games has previously developed titles including Tower of Guns, Mothergunship, 3 out of 10 and Invincible Presents: Atom Eve.

Burgle Supply Company Available Now on Steam

Burgle Supply Company is now available on PC through Steam for $7.99 and includes support for multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Korean and Japanese.

With its full launch, the game positions itself as another entry in the growing wave of indie multiplayer experiences focused on cooperative chaos, social gameplay and horror-inspired comedy.
