PUBG MOBILE has launched its Version 4.6 update, adding a new vampire-themed game mode, returning content, major gameplay changes and collaborations with brands and entertainment properties. The update is available from September 8 through November 10, 2026, introducing supernatural combat through Midnight Hunters alongside new features across Classic Mode, Arena Mode, World of Wonder and Home Mode.
Midnight Hunters Brings Vampires to PUBG MOBILE
The centerpiece of Version 4.6 is Midnight Hunters, a limited-time mode that pits hunters against vampires across transformed areas of the battlefield.
Players can visit Vampire Hunter Guild locations, complete combat encounters and investigate the mysterious AI character known as the Nightkeeper. A Hunter Shooting Range also gives players an opportunity to test their accuracy and earn rewards based on their scores.
New PvE Enemies and Vampire-Hunting Gear
Midnight Hunters adds several PvE enemies, including Bloodwalkers, the sonic-attacking Nightbat and the powerful Vampire Elder, which can summon arcane orbs that strengthen nearby enemies. Elite enemies feature protective shields and special finisher animations.
Players also gain new abilities and equipment. Twilight Bat Wings transform players into an energy bat with hover, dash, latch and sonar abilities. The Silvermoon Chain can be used for attacks, movement and protection, while the Blood Crystal Barrier can block windows and help defend against incoming attacks.
Healing and team-support options include the Blood Pact, Hunter Bandage and Scarlet Tonic.
The mode also features hidden compartments, missions and challenges. The Golden Bat challenge requires players to locate and defeat a disguised Golden Bat before it escapes. Scream Crates introduce puzzle challenges, while Guild Missions include defending the Nightkeeper’s seals and hunting evolving vampire enemies.
Bloodline Awakening Lets Eliminated Players Return
For a limited time, eliminated players can return as vampires through Bloodline Awakening. The feature allows them to switch sides and hunt the remaining players.
Vampires receive four abilities: Claw Attack, Absorb, Blood Sense and Blood Amberfication. The latter temporarily places players in a high-speed state that is immune to damage.
Bloodline Awakening will be available from Friday through Sunday during September following the seasonal update.
Ocean Odyssey Returns to Erangel
Ocean Odyssey returns September 30, exclusively on Erangel. Players can also discover signs of a mysterious giant serpent emerging from underground areas of the map.
Sections of its stone shell can be broken apart to reveal scales and supply rewards, providing another discovery element within the returning themed mode.
PUBG MOBILE Adds New Collaborations
Version 4.6 includes several new collaborations. Lincoln content arrives September 10, followed by One-Punch Man events and themed Home content beginning September 20.
B.Duck content launches October 2, adding themed items and Home furniture.
The update also features music from Alan Walker, including the track and Version 4.6 theme song “FATE.” The song will be available in the game at no cost through November 10.
Classic Mode and Arena Mode Get New Features
Classic Mode receives new missions, combat improvements and equipment changes. On Erangel, players can complete missions involving recovered combat supplies and Supply Shops, while the updated Supply Shop offers improved filtering, a revised layout and a larger selection of items.
Weapon adjustments improve firing stability for the ACE32 and several 7.62mm rifles, including the AKM, M762, Honey Badger, Mk47 and Groza.
New Channel Buoys provide temporary protection in waters around Military Base, while floating supply crates and interactive lockers add more opportunities to find supplies.
The new Inflatable Boat seats four players and moves faster as more passengers row. Custom Garage changes can also allow a Tracked Amphicarrier to appear in exchange for Shop Tokens.
Arena Mode begins a new Ranked Arena season October 1 and runs through October 29. Ranked competitions include Team Deathmatch, Assault and Domination maps, with tiered rewards and a limited title for the top 1,000 players in each region.
World of Wonder Gets a Halloween Makeover
World of Wonder receives its own seasonal changes through the Halloweeks version of Brainrot gameplay. Players can collect new Brainrot characters, explore Halloween-themed scenery and earn a new event currency.
The returning Magic Broom and new Brainrot Wand add further themed gameplay. The wand can transform players into a Halloweeks-themed Brainrot character.
A limited-time Ghost Ship event lets players board the ship, visit the Halloweeks Shop and pursue new progression goals. Ghost cannonballs fired by the ship can also evolve Brainrot mutants, creating new variants to collect.
Creators receive additional tools, including a Jetpack Device. A limited-time Creation Shop incentive increases the WOW Token revenue share from 55% to as much as 83%, depending on the applicable tier.
Home Mode, Season 32 and Metro Royale Updates
Home Mode welcomes back the Home Competition alongside the new Cyber Nexus Home Style. Players can compete for votes and rewards, while a Style Voting event offers eligible participants the opportunity to enter a cash prize drawing.
The Feast of Shadows event begins September 13, allowing players to hunt specters as seekers or join the specters and frighten other players.
Season 32 starts September 12 with updated tier rewards, new Path of Glory rewards and changes to Promotion Matches. Ultimate Royale and a new Casual Match season also return.
Metro Royale Chapter 34 introduces vampire bases at Arctic Base, where high-value Scream Crates are guarded by mutated vampires. Golden Bat Statues provide additional challenges and potential high-value rewards.
The new Royale Pass, RP A21, includes a customizable-color outfit, an upgradable weapon and additional unlockable rewards.
