The online convention will feature a mix of established projects and emerging indie games, alongside developer conversations and gameplay streams led by games journalists and media creators.

Fireside Chats and Gameplay Streams Join the Program
LudoNarraCon is also partnering with independent games journalists, creators and media outlets to provide additional coverage of the participating titles.
This Week in Video Games, lookingfor.game’s Lucy James, Jacob Geller and Remap are among the participants scheduled to host Fireside Chats or stream gameplay from games included in the Official Selection.
The programming is designed to give viewers additional context about the development and creative decisions behind this year’s featured projects.
Developers and Media Creators Take Part
Program highlights include a conversation involving Jacob Geller, Gareth Damian Martin and Remy Siu.
Remap will feature About Fishing, while Lucy James is scheduled to cover Neverway. This Week in Video Games will also spotlight The Dungeon Experience as part of the event programming.
These sessions will complement the broader digital showcase by allowing audiences to hear from developers and see selected games in action.
Digital Convention Returns to Steam in October
Unlike a traditional in-person gaming convention, LudoNarraCon takes place digitally through Steam, making its participating games and programming accessible to players online.
The format centers specifically on narrative video games, providing an event for independent developers whose projects emphasize characters, storytelling, world-building and other forms of interactive narrative.
The 2026 edition marks the eighth year of the event and continues LudoNarraCon’s focus on bringing together developers, media creators and players around story-rich games.
LudoNarraCon 2026 will run from October 8 through October 12 on Steam. With 50 games included in the Official Selection and a program of developer discussions and gameplay streams, this year’s event will offer players several days to explore upcoming and established narrative-focused indie titles.
