It’s been over a week since Square Enix launched Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicle Remastered Edition Let’s say it didn’t work correctly on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and mobile devices, and even some parts of the world.
I already heard about the game Obtained from local e-shops in Australia and New Zealand With ongoing multi-player and connectivity issues, current game director Ryoma Araki announced an apology to all the players who were inconvenient during the game’s release week, and the development team and himself said, ” I will try to be right.”
The full message of Ryoma from the Square Enix website is:
FINAL FANTASY CHRYSTAL CHRONICLES is the remastered version of Ryoma Araki. Thank you for playing the game.
We’ve received a lot of feedback from players since the game was released and we’re trying to address any issues that arose as soon as possible, but we apologize for the late announcement of the situation.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused while playing.
First of all, the situation where the player cannot play immediately after starting is due to the server capacity being exceeded. On August 29th, we performed maintenance to increase the server capacity, and then achieved relatively stable operation. In the future, we plan to address server issues as needed.
We also want to release a quick update to address the bugs that are interfering with the player’s gaming experience and addressing the update schedule announced below.
Once we’ve reviewed the player’s feedback, we are considering further updates in addition to the ones below, and will announce more when the updates are finalized.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to our customers.
Thank you for your patronage of the FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES remaster version.
As the director pointed out, the development team will address “other server issues as needed” and deploy “quick updates” to resolve all bugs as soon as possible. The following are the immediate corrections in progress.
The following updates are planned: All platforms
-Fixed an issue where a player spawns an unknown element hotspot and counts as having spawned that hotspot after matching a player who completed a dungeon in multiplayer.
-Fixed the problem that items can be acquired indefinitely.
-Ability for hosting players to skip boss referral cutscenes and myrrh dropscenes in multiplayer.
