Date:

Topics of the week. Sources: Xbox Game Studios, Riot Games, Pearl Abyss, Deep Silver, Marius Shouted at on YouTube

Welcome to the 35th Weekly Review of the Year 2021! The last seven days, August 23-29, 2021, were dominated by gamescom 2021, which was once again organized entirely digitally, but was again able to show us numerous new games, especially as part of Opening Night Live.

Some of the announcements could be expected, others not. In the latest Gaming-Grounds.de weekly review, you can read below the five topics that have particularly concerned you and us. In addition to gamescom, there were only two topics that generated enough relevance to get a spot here as well.

Some of you seem really looking forward to the upcoming Fishing Camp 2, which will take place from September 9-12 and will be broadcast again 72 hours live on Knossi’s Twitch.tv channel. Additionally, League of Legends esports fans are concerned about the spontaneous relocation of the 2021 World Cup from China to Europe.

Have fun reading!

5. Self Made Saints Row: This is the reboot

Gamescom News # 1: After the reboot of the famous and iconic Saints Row franchise had already been announced prior to gamescom, the official unveiling now took place. The next game is called “Self Made Saints Row” and it has completely different vibes compared to its predecessors. The first trailer is atmospheric and coherent:

4. Fishing Camp 2: start time, house raft finished and more

As already mentioned, Angelcamp 2 news and preliminary reports, which are gradually available and can be read regularly on our website, are of great interest to you. In less than two weeks, the camp gang will be meeting again to fish, listen to music, and of course a lot of nonsense. There will not only be numerous exciting guests again, but also a raft built by Marius Angeschrien, which is now finished.

3. DokeV: It presents a cute open world game with Pokémon vibes.

The presentation of the upcoming Open World Games DokeV also comes from gamescom, which is not only brightly colored, action-packed, and quite insane, but also gives us an instant Pokémon vibe. DokeV is definitely one of the craziest, most exciting and at the same time curious announcements of this year’s Opening Night Live. Particularly interesting: The game comes from Black Desert developer Pearl Abyss. Of course, we will keep you informed as soon as we have more information.

2. Worlds 2021: Confirmed relocation to Europe – these are the reasons

In addition to all the gamescom action, there was another real excitement in the week that was left behind. After rumors and speculation initially emerged, Riot Games confirmed that the League of Legends World Cup, also known as Worlds, will not take place in China this year, as previously planned, but spontaneously in Europe.

This mainly has to do with entry restrictions into China. In this context, Riot Games emphasizes that the competitive integrity of League of Legends esports must be preserved in any event, so that locations are selected that ensure that all ranked teams can compete against each other with their best players. This would not have been possible in China this year. All additional information about the Worlds 2021 relocation:

1. Halo Infinite will arrive on December 8: all the information about the launch

Our theme of the week is Halo Infinite! Of course, the update to the most anticipated shooter of the year will also come from gamescom. We have known for some time that Halo Infinite will be released in the foreseeable future. At gamescom, however, the official release date has already been announced.

Halo Infinite, including the campaign and the free multiplayer part, will be released on December 8, 2021. We were also able to marvel at the cinematic introduction to the first multiplayer season. What other exciting news we have learned:
