Windows 11 update stack: an update should be less disruptive in the future

Date:

The new update stack package in version 922.319.111.0 for Windows 11 should improve the user experience with upcoming feature updates. Microsoft has already started its rollout after the release of two Windows 11 Insider Previews Build 22579 and Build 22581.

Updates are said to be “most likely” non-disruptive

With the new update stack package for Windows 11, Microsoft wants to, among other things, “Deploy update feature enhancements before the PC receives a monthly or feature update‘ and thus contribute to ‘which PC has the highest chance of successfully installing new updates“. This should also be in the “less disruptive method” respectively.

Test run for Windows 11 22H2

The update for the OS system upgrade is another harbinger of the Fall 2022 Update aka Windows 11 22H2 aka “Sun Valley 2” and will be distributed in waves and exclusively to experts on the Dev Channel. , which is primarily aimed at developers.

We may provide upgrade feature enhancements before the PC receives a monthly or feature upgrade.

The update stack package will help ensure that your PC has the best chance of successfully installing new updates using the best and least disruptive method.

Microsoft

Insiders on the Dev Channel will receive the update automatically, but can also check for the new update stack package, which behaves like a cumulative update during installation, but also via Einstellungen → Windows Update Push.

Sun Valley 2 is taking shape

I like the site desktop modifier reported, the next pipeline update is expected to be available today and the developer preview build is expected on the Beta Channel and Dev Channel on the 10.0.22581.100 ni_prerelease raise.

As the first major feature update after the release of Windows 11 21H2 and the 22000.x build series, Windows 22H2 will have a number of new features this fall, such as customizable folders in the start menu, a specially optimized taskbar for tablets and 2-in-1s, and bring a new Microsoft Defender and tabs in Windows Explorer.
