TORONTO — Independent publisher Iceberg Interactive and solo developer Kate, who creates games under the Galactic Ghosty label, have announced that the hand-painted point-and-click adventure Allogloom will launch on Steam on Oct. 13, 2026, positioning the mystery title for release during the Halloween gaming season.

The narrative-driven adventure combines cozy exploration with psychological horror, inviting players to investigate the disappearance of an entire town while solving lore-based puzzles across multiple interconnected worlds. The announcement also opens review code requests for media and content creators ahead of launch.

The release further strengthens Iceberg Interactive’s portfolio of independent adventure games, building on the publisher’s success with titles such as Strange Horticulture.

In Allogloom, players take on the role of Nora, who investigates the mysterious disappearance of the residents of Gruesome Grove, a town where unsettling secrets lie beneath a charming exterior.

The story unfolds across eight chapters, leading players through six interconnected worlds filled with hidden clues, unusual relics and mysterious inhabitants. Every environment, character and creature has been hand-painted by Kate, giving the game a distinctive artistic identity.

According to the developer, gameplay emphasizes observation and curiosity rather than trial-and-error puzzle solving. Players are encouraged to examine objects carefully, interact with strange characters and piece together the town’s forgotten history as they uncover the truth behind its missing residents.
