Tokyo-based Good Smile Company has launched the first-anniversary celebration for Jigokuraku: BATTLE IN HELL’S PARADISE, introducing limited-time rewards, exclusive characters, an original prequel storyline and plans for additional gameplay features in December 2026.
The anniversary promotion began on November 3, 2026, at 7 p.m. PST, with activities available across the survival role-playing game’s supported mobile and PC platforms.
The campaign includes special login bonuses, collectible SSR Memories, limited-time character Encounters and returning-player incentives. The publisher also announced a soundtrack release on Steam and confirmed the game’s participation in Jump Festa 2027.
First Anniversary Campaign Introduces Original Story and Exclusive Rewards
The anniversary celebration centres on a special event titled Hell’s Paradise: Burning Husk, featuring an original prequel storyline that expands the game’s narrative beyond the events depicted in the manga and anime.
Players can participate in anniversary missions, obtain limited SSR Memories and access new character recruitment opportunities through the game’s Encounter system.
Limited SSR Gabimaru Joins Anniversary Character Lineup
One of the campaign’s major additions is the limited SSR Ally [All-Consuming Flame] Gabimaru, voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi.
The character is available through a limited-time Selectable Encounter, allowing players to pursue the anniversary-exclusive addition.
Good Smile Company has also introduced an Encounter featuring previously released limited SSR Allies, with an expanded selection of returning characters.
A paid-only 1st Anniversary Guaranteed SSR Encounter guarantees at least one featured SSR Ally for every 10 Encounters.
Additional Selectable Encounters, titled Yamada Asaemon / Vicious Criminals & Tensen / Strange Chronicles, will allow players to select a returning SSR Ally as their featured character.
Anniversary Login Bonuses and Returning-Player Incentives
The anniversary campaign includes special login rewards and an Exchange system offering limited SSR Memories.
Players can collect Exchange Tickets by logging into the game during the promotional period and completing designated Event Missions. These tickets can then be exchanged for anniversary rewards.
Good Smile Company is also targeting former players through its Returning Player Promotion.
Players who have been inactive for at least 30 days can access Returning Players Login Bonuses and dedicated missions upon returning to the game.
The initiative provides additional incentives for lapsed users to rejoin ahead of the December content rollout.
Original Soundtrack Released on Steam With Anniversary Discount
Alongside the in-game celebrations, Good Smile Company has released the Jigokuraku: BATTLE IN HELL’S PARADISE Original Soundtrack on Steam.
The collection contains 40 tracks, including the opening movie version of Beautiful Hell, performed by Japanese artist Reol.
A limited anniversary sale offers a 20 per cent discount on the soundtrack until November 17 at 6:59 p.m. PST.
The soundtrack is available through the game’s Steam store page.
December 2026 Update to Add Celestial Clash and EX Awakening
Good Smile Company has outlined several gameplay additions scheduled for December 2026, including a new competitive battle mode called Celestial Clash.
Competitive Mode Will Require Three Teams
Celestial Clash will introduce individual player rankings and require participants to prepare three separate teams for each match.
The publisher described the feature as an advanced competitive mode currently under development.
December will also bring back previously available limited-time events.
A new progression feature, EX Awakening, will allow players to further strengthen characters introduced in earlier updates.
Additional information about these systems will be released through official in-game announcements.
Good Smile Company Confirms Jump Festa 2027 Appearance
Jigokuraku: BATTLE IN HELL’S PARADISE will appear at Good Smile Company’s booth during Jump Festa 2027 in December.
Visitors will have an opportunity to receive a special promotional sticker while supplies last.
