Real-Time Strategy Game Expands Story With New Single-Player Campaign and Multiplayer Content

The demo launched on July 9, 2026, as part of TactiCon and allows strategy game fans to experience new single-player content centered around the Veti, the game’s powerful third playable faction.
The upcoming expansion, “The Veti’s Wrath,” is scheduled to launch later this year and will introduce a full 11-mission campaign, expanded multiplayer integration, and additional gameplay features.
New Demo Introduces the Veti Faction
The latest Tempest Rising demo gives players access to the first two missions from the upcoming Veti story campaign. It also includes the opening missions from the game’s existing Global Defense Force and Tempest Dynasty campaigns.
In addition to campaign content, players can test the Veti faction in skirmish mode and custom multiplayer matches, offering an early look at the faction’s unique battlefield abilities and strategic approach.
The Veti are presented as an ancient and technologically advanced force with a focus on domination, using fallen enemies as a resource to strengthen their military campaign.
The Veti’s Wrath Expansion Adds Final Story Chapter
When released later this year, The Veti’s Wrath expansion will bring the complete Veti faction into Tempest Rising’s gameplay ecosystem.
The expansion will include a dedicated 11-mission single-player campaign, along with full support for multiplayer, skirmish modes, and custom games.
The story will explore the return of the Veti as they attempt to reunite their forces, challenge humanity’s control, and reclaim influence in a world they once dominated.
Players will experience the conclusion of the Tempest Rising storyline while commanding a faction built around advanced technology and a distinct strategic identity.
