Clear River Games announced that Toaplan Arcade Garage: Flying Fire Shark will receive a worldwide release for PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
The collection centers on Toaplan’s Flying Shark and Fire Shark, two vertically scrolling shooters that became notable entries in the arcade shoot-’em-up genre.
Flying Shark built its reputation around straightforward mechanics and carefully balanced difficulty, while its sequel, Fire Shark, expanded the formula with more powerful weapons and intense enemy encounters.
The compilation also includes regional versions of the games, giving retro gaming enthusiasts access to several variations originally released in Japanese, U.S. and international arcades.

The collection also incorporates M2 Gadgets alongside the main play area. These provide additional information that can help players identify potential blind spots, incoming items and hidden gameplay elements.
Arcade Challenge Mode divides stages into smaller sections, allowing players to practice individual portions rather than repeatedly starting from the beginning.

Teki-Paki Offered as a Free Bonus
Toaplan’s 1991 arcade puzzle game Teki-Paki will also be offered as a free download to players who purchase any Toaplan Arcade Garage title.
The match-five puzzle game features an industrial techno soundtrack and online leaderboards. Players can also download and watch gameplay sessions from high-ranking competitors, providing an opportunity to study strategies and improve their own scores.
