Xbox Game Pass: Late May 2021 Games

Date:

The subscription service of Xbox Game Pass is enriched with fifteen new features, divided between cloud, console and PC. The news in terms of revenue from the Xbox universe is mainly focused on seven titles, while the rest are games that have already been made available in the previous months, but which now also become part of the streaming catalog for Android and for PC.

Among the most interesting games of the second run of May we have Snowrunner, the latest installment in the vehicle and truck simulation series developed by Saber Interactive. The game achieved some success at launch, especially in the PC world, where these remarkably realistic titles find the most response from fans. Snowrunner is actually a game marked by an almost manic realism, a precise and exact simulator in the physics and behavior of the vehicle, which responds to different terrain and atmospheric conditions. Driving down a comfortable paved road to deliver goods and complete missions is just the beginning of new frontiers of rugged terrain, mud, snow, and ice. The difference in handling is abysmal, with a physical reproduction that reflects, in a tangible way, the difficulties of driving a vehicle in extreme conditions. The very long, difficult and structured single player campaign can also be tackled together with other online players, up to a maximum of four people.

Man eater is an original and crazy arcade, where we will be a shark that tries to kill and consume the poor victims, in the strangest and most particular ways. Victims also human, of course. The team has put together a strange story, a kind of reality show in which a small bull shark is disfigured and deprived of its mother. This prologue unleashes the desire for revenge of the little cub who, in a kind of open world at the bottom of the ocean, will move in search of prey, initially represented by fish to alligators and whales. The growth of our character, the shark, goes through mutagens and RPG-style abilities, with different underwater regions to explore and that require you to wreak havoc and destroy as much as possible, among the fauna and elements of the map.

The savage at heart is a promising indie game with a very particular graphic style, with two children protagonists of a story suspended between reality and fantasy. Exploration, puzzles and little creatures to master, all immersed in a magical world with fantasy overtones.

Conan Exiles instead, it is a game based on the universe of the barbarian warrior, an open world with survival components: once we have created our character we will have to survive in the hostile world of the game, among animals, human enemies and mythological creatures. The collection of objects and resources allows you to manufacture our equipment, to increase the chances of survival, between camps and offensive weapons.

Three minor titles, such as Knockout City, competitive online team based on the mechanics of Dodgeball; The Catch: Carp and Big Fish, a fishing title in which we will have to catch bigger and bigger fish all over the world and MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, a mechanical game set in 3015, where various interstellar factions fight each other. The player can take on the story alone or in online cooperative mode, for a total of twenty-one missions ranging from conquering territories, escorting VIPs and assaults.
